Armchair bed makeover
Not so long ago this armchair used to serve as a bed in our parents workshop and when we were little we used to fall asleep there waiting for them to finish work. Time passed by. It became old and outdated but full of childhood memories so throwing it away was out of the question.
This is before...you can imagine the decade it was made in...
To begin with we turned it into pieces....threw out the old and nasty cushions, made a service to the mechanism, put some oil and screw the rickety screws...
We primed the wooden frame, put two layers of off-white paint and sanded between the two layers.
We bought new foam and a beautiful blue fabric so as to make new cushions.
And this is how it looks as an open bed..beautiful and comfortable.
Big difference don't you think?
